Shannon recently went to the Las Vegas Market, and wow, what an experience! Picture this: over 3,500 brands spread across four massive buildings at the World Market Center, all showcasing the newest and most amazing products in furniture, home décor and gifts. It's basically a small business owner's dream come true.
So what exactly happens at a wholesale market?
Think of it like the ultimate treasure hunt, but for your favorite shop. Shannon walks miles (seriously, comfy shoes are a must!), exploring booth after booth, touching fabrics, smelling candles, testing products and meeting the incredible people behind the brands we bring to Parker.

Meeting the Makers
We get to talk face-to-face with the creators, designers and small business owners who make these products. We learn their stories, understand their values and make sure they align with ours. Are they women-owned? Small-batch? Do they care about quality as much as we do? These conversations matter.

You can't really know if a product is amazing from pictures alone. At Market, Shannon gets to see the quality up close, feel the textures, test how things work and make sure everything meets our standards before we bring it home to you.

Markets give us a sneak peek at what's coming next in the gift and home world. We get to see emerging trends, discover new brands before they blow up and bring fresh, unique finds to the Nest that you won't see everywhere else.
Building Relationships
Shopping wholesale isn't just about placing orders. It's about building real relationships with the brands and vendors we work with. When we love a product and it does well in our shop, we come back season after season.
