I’m Shannon Carter, proud owner of Nest on Mainstreet! In 2023, I took the leap into small business ownership — and I’m so grateful I did.

A Colorado native, I grew up in Evergreen and studied Accounting and Finance at Colorado State University. After years in Corporate Finance for Fortune 500 companies, I like to joke that I’m a recovering CPA. I’ve called Parker home for over 20 years, and in my search for a more meaningful way to connect with the community and raise my family, Nest quite literally flew into my life.

I have two boys, ages 11 and 13, and we love all things Colorado — hiking, skiing, biking, and exploring Parker’s great local businesses. Our golden retrievers, Lexi and Holly, run the house and greet everyone with a belly rub request.

Nest on Mainstreet is a unique, fun gift shop in Downtown Parker. We work hard to make every visit special — from the products you browse to the service you receive.
